Under the nine general education boards, Barishal board has secured the top position with 80.65 per cent pass rate in the Higher Secondary Certificate and its equivalent examinations in 2023.
The average pass rate in the HSC exam is 78.64 per cent and under the nine general education boards the average pass rate is 75.90 per cent.
Dhaka board has secured second position with 79.44 per cent pass rate while Rajshahi board secured third position with 78.46 per cent, Cumilla board with 75.39 per cent, Dinajpur board with 74.48 per cent, Chattogram board with 74.45 per cent, Sylhet board with 71.62 per cent, Mymensingh board with 70.44 per cent and Jashore board with 69.88 per cent.
Earlier, in the day, the results of HSC and its equivalent examinations were published.
The results were also published in the respective educational institutions and websites at 11:00 am.
The pass rate of Technical Education Board is 91.25 per cent while Madrasha Board 90.75 per cent.
