Bangladesh Agricultural University (BAU) and Maverick Innovations signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) to create collaborative relationships in education and research.
The Poultry Science Department organized the signing ceremony in the conference room of the Dean's Office of the Faculty of Animal Husbandry on Monday (October 7) at noon.
In the speech of the chief guest, Vice-Chancellor Professor Dr. A K Fazlul Haque Bhuiyan said, that if more organizations come forward after seeing Maverick Innovation, farmers will benefit as they will get the right price for their produce.

“Public university students are studying with public funds, and the proper evaluation of this investment will only occur when the students contribute to the country's development by applying their acquired knowledge at the field level. They can easily access this opportunity through a private institution”, he said.

The country stands to benefit from the signing of the MoU between BAU and Maverick Innovations today, as collaboration will enhance research quality and garner international recognition”, he said.
In addition, he stressed the need to prioritize research focused on animal production.
