Cheques of Tk 1.017 million as education grants were distributed among 148 beneficiaries in Rajshahi for improving their living and livelihood condition on Tuesday, an official said today (Wednesday).
On behalf of the ministry of education, district administration distributed the cheques among the beneficiaries including 139 distressed and physically challenged students, one teacher and eight educational institutions at the conference hall of Deputy Commissioner.
Deputy Commissioner SM Abdul Kader and Additional Deputy Commissioner (Education and ICT) Nasima Khatun) distributed the cheques, BSS reported.
