DU’s IBA admission test held on Friday

The admission test for the BBA programme of the Institute of Business Administration (IBA) at the University of Dhaka for the 2024-25 academic year was held on Friday.

This year, about 10,278 students appeared for the test against 120 available seats, according to local media reports.

During the exam, professor Dr Niaz Ahmed Khan, vice-chancellor of the University of Dhaka, visited the examination centre at the Institute of Business Adminstration.

During the visit, Pro-Vice-Chancellor (Administration) Professor Dr Saima Haque Bidisha, Pro-Vice-Chancellor (Academic) Professor Dr Mamun Ahmed, Treasurer Professor Dr M Jahangir Alam Chowdhury, Associate Professor Saifuddin Ahmed (Proctor), and the Institute’s Director Professor Shakil Huda were present.

After inspecting the examination centre, Vice-Chancellor professor Dr Niaz Ahmed Khan stated that, the highly competitive test was conducted in a very fair, peaceful, and orderly manner.

Meanwhile, the admission test (General Knowledge and Drawing) for the undergraduate programme under the Faculty of Fine Arts for the 2024-2025 academic year will be held on Saturday.

Additionally, the admission tests for the Arts, Law, and Social Sciences Unit will be held on January 25, the Science Unit on February 01, and the Business Studies unit on February 08.

The admission tests for all units will be conducted from 11:00 am to 12:30 pm.
