Eastern University holds orientation programme

Eastern University welcomed its new undergraduate students of Spring 2019 Semester through an orientation ceremony on Saturday at the university’s permanent campus premises at Ashulia Model Town in Savar.

Minister of Disaster Management and Relief ministry, Dr Md Enamur Rahman MP, attended the ceremony as the chief guest.

The chairman of the board of trustees of Eastern University, Liaquat Hossain Moghul was the special guest while Vice Chancellor Professor Dr Shahid Akhtar Hossain chaired the programme, said a media release received today (Sunday).

Former chairman of the board of trustees Eng Khondokar Mesbah Uddin Ahmed, Member of the board of trustees and chairman of the University Admission Committee Mohammad Ali Azam, Trustee board member Professor Dr A B M Shahidul Islam, Md Azizul Islam, Anwar Hossain Chowdhury, and SK Saydur Rahman were also present on the occasion.
