BUP organises seminar on higher education policy in Bangladesh

Bangladesh University of Professionals (BUP) organised a seminar on “Higher Education Policy in Bangladesh” at Bijoy Auditorium of its campus in the capital on Monday.

The BUP, in association with Institutional Quality Assurance Cell (IQAC) and Office of the Evaluation, Faculty and Curriculum Development (OEFCD) of the university, jointly arranged the seminar.

They hold the function with a view to discuss about the importance, challenges, framework and guidelines about the higher education policy in the country, says a media release.

BUP VC Major General Md Emdad-Ul-Bari, ndc, psc, te, was present at the seminar as the chief guest while BUP Pro-VC Professor M Abul Kashem Mozumder, PhD. was also present.

Chairman of Palli Karma-Sahayak Foundation and Director of Dhaka School of Economics, Qazi Kholiquzzaman Ahmad, PhD, was present at the event as keynote speaker.

Dean of Office of the Evaluation, Faculty and Curriculum Development (OEFCD) and Director of IQAC Commodore Syed Salauddin Ahmed, NUP,ndu, afwc, psc, moderated the seminar.

Among others, BUP high officials, teachers, students from its affiliated institutions were also present in the seminar.
