Green University Cultural Club (GUCC) has organised the two-day annual cultural competition at its green seminar hall.
The event, ‘Annual Cultural Competition 2018’ arranged with a view to acclimatise the students with the national cultural legacy of Bangladesh, and create an opportunity for celebrating them.
Prof Dr Muhammad Fayyaz Khan, pro vice chancellor of the university, was the chief guest at the award giving ceremony, while Golam Samdani Fakir inaugurated the programme on Wednesday.
Md Shahid Ullah, treasurer and director of student affairs, Prof Dr Golam Ahmed Faruqui, dean of green business school, Registrar (acting) Md Saiful Islam, were the special guest.
The events were included bangla poem recitation, poem recitation, dance, patriotic song and guiter play, according to a media release.
Total one hundred students of different departments participated in ten different events in the competition.
