The Board of Intermediate and Secondary Education, Dhaka has directed Higher Secondary Certificate and equivalent candidates to submit their attested copies of JSC and SSC test transcripts and admit cards by Sept 12.
An emergency notice with necessary instructions in this regard, signed by Dhaka education board exam controller Md Abul Bashar, was issued on Tuesday.
The government cancelled the HSC and equivalent examinations in the wake of student protests on Aug 20.
However, the education boards are set to publish results on the basis of candidates’ scores in the JSC, SSC and equivalent exams following the experience of examinations during the COVID-19 pandemic.
An ‘emergency notice’ has been issued amid the persistent circumstances on Wednesday. The candidates of the 2024 HSC exams have been told to submit necessary documents, including attested Xerox copies of JSC, SSC and equivalent test transcripts and admit cards to the exam centres’ acting officers and board of principals by Sept 12.
