Jahangirnagar University witnessed an extraordinary showcase of innovation and entrepreneurship as the Hult Prize 2024-25 reached its grand finale. The competition, known for fostering social entrepreneurship, set a benchmark this year with record-breaking participation and an inspiring prize-giving celebration.
With over 150+ teams registering for the competition, the journey was intense and filled with groundbreaking ideas. The competition was conducted in three challenging rounds, where 15 exceptional teams advanced to the second stage.
After a rigorous evaluation, the top 6 teams made it to the grand finale, where they pitched their business ideas before an esteemed panel of judges.
The grand finale was spectacular, as the top six finalists presented innovative solutions to social issues. The esteemed judges engaged in thought-provoking discussions, questioning the feasibility and impact of each idea before making the final decision.
The competition was about the BDT 30,000 prize pool and the opportunity to create meaningful change.
The winners have earned the honour of representing Jahangirnagar University at the national level, where they will compete against the brightest minds from other universities.
After an intense final round, the following teams emerged as the ultimate changemakers:
Champion: Kanamachhi
First Runner-up: Hydrocarbon
Second Runner-up: Climbers & Co.
These outstanding teams impressed the judges with their innovative business models, social impact strategies, and sustainable solutions to real-world problems.
