Islamic University Science Faculty gets new dean

Dr M Momtazul Islam, professor of Electrical and Electronic Engineering department has been appointed as the dean of Applied Sciences and Technology Faculty of Islamic University (IU) in Kushtia.

Momtazul Islam was replaced by Professor Dr M Shamsul Alam of Applied Chemistry and Chemical Engineering department of the university, sources at IU registrar office said on Sunday morning.

IU Vice-Chancellor Professor Dr M Harun-Ur-Rashid Askari appointed Momtazul to the post for the next two years, said IU acting registrar SM Abdul Latif, reports UNB.
