Islamic University (IU) authorities appointed new deans to three faculties.
Their joining went into effect on Wednesday, UNB reported.
IU Vice-chancellor Prof M Harun-Ur-Rashid Askari appointed the deans to their respective faculties for the next three years, said acting IU Registrar SM Abdul Latif.
Prof Nasim Banu of Public Administration department was appointed as the dean of Social Science faculty while Anwarul Haque Shopon of Biotechnology and Genetics Engineering department as the dean of Biological Science faculty and Mustafa Kamal of Mathematics department as the dean of Science faculty.
