Islamic University students held a procession and rally, demanding the highest punishment and resignation of those in administrative positions who are supporters of the Awami fascists from the July uprising.

On Wednesday, the students marched from Bottola to the administrative building, passing significant points on campus. They gathered in front of the administrative building, where hundreds of students, along with coordinators and others, were present.

During the rally, they raised various slogans, calling for severe penalties and resignations. They emphasized that the admission process should be based on merit and insisted on the resignation of those who support fascism.

SM Sweet, a coordinator of the Anti-Discrimination Student Movement, stated, “Our fellow students know that supporters of the Awami fascists continue to hold their posts. We have informed the administration, but they have failed to take action against them.”

“We don't want to see any organization involved in genocide. The administration must take appropriate steps to ensure their punishment,” he added.
