A Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) has been signed between Jahangirnagar University (JU) and Daffodil International University (DIU) to strengthen bilateral cooperation in education and research.
The agreement was signed today (Tuesday) at 4 pm in the Council Room of JU’s administrative building.
On behalf of Jahangirnagar University, Treasurer Professor Dr. M. Abdur Rab signed the agreement, while Pro-Vice Chancellor Professor Dr. S.M. Mahbub Ul Haque Majumder represented Daffodil International University.
Under the MoU, both institutions will collaborate in various academic fields, including research, seminars, and workshops.
Speaking on the occasion, JU Vice Chancellor Professor Dr. Mohammad Kamrul Ahsan expressed hope that the agreement would open new avenues for mutual academic exchange and cooperation among faculty members, researchers, and students.
The signing ceremony was attended by JU Pro-Vice Chancellor (Academic) Professor Dr. M. Mahfuzur Rahman, Professor Dr. M.R. Kabir of DIU’s Civil Engineering Department, Professor Dr. Md. Kabirul Islam, Dean of Graduate Studies, Professor Dr. Syed Mizanur Rahman, Director of External Affairs, Professor Liza Sharmin, Dean of Arts and Humanities, Professor Dr. Aleya, and other dignitaries.
