The 5th National Math Olympiad-2018, organised by Jahangirnagar University Science Club (JUSC), will be held on October 12 on the university campus.
The contest will be held on Jahangirnagar University School College premises with the slogan 'Ganit NiyeVabbe Joto, Shanito Hobe Buddhi Toto'.
President of JUSC Khandakar Oliullah disclosed it at a press conference held at Jahangirnagar University Journalists' Association (JUJA) on Wednesday afternoon, reports UNB.
Director of Wazed Miah Science Research Center and also the adviser of JUSC Professor Khabir Uddin will inaugurate the programme, he said.
Around 4,000 class VI to XII from over 100 schools and colleges across the country will participate in the contest while 15 from each class will be selected as winner, he added.
Participants will have to answer 50 Multiple Choice Questions (MCQ) in the contest while a participatory certificate will be awarded to each contestant.
JUSC General Secretary Sohrab Sharkar Shadhin and Organising Secretary Shariful Islam Sharif, among others, addressed the press meet.
