New curriculum to be introduced in the secondary level in 2027: Adviser

Education Adviser CR Abrar has said the government plans to introduce a new curriculum in the secondary education level in 2027.

“Initially, the curriculum will be implemented for the sixth graders in that year. Other classes will get the curriculum gradually,” the adviser said while addressing a press conference at the education ministry on Wednesday.

The adviser mentioned that the curriculum of 2012 was reintroduced due to a special circumstance, and it will continue in the next year.

He said the online transfer process for college-level teachers will begin on July 1. A similar process will begin in the school level within a couple of months.
