The Board of Trustees of North South University (NSU) has decided to waive 20 per cent of the tuition fees and 100 per cent of all other fees for students enrolled in the summer semester of 2024. The decision comes in response to disruptions caused by the recent anti-discrimination student movement and subsequent political changes in Bangladesh.

Additionally, all fees associated with student internships starting from the summer semester of 2024 will be cancelled.

The NSU Board of Trustees has announced plans to introduce student transport services. Besides, several initiatives are being taken to focus on the students' mental health. These include a new online (via app and hotline) counselling programme and a new on-campus in-person counselling programme (through external partner agencies).

The NSU Board of Trustees has decided to create an appropriate framework and platform for exchanging ongoing and periodic ideas, recommendations, and feedback between faculty, students, and administration.
