The online registration for undergraduate (honours) admission to Jahangirnagar University for the 2022-23 session has started today. Vice-Chancellor Professor Dr Md. Nurul Alam inaugurated the online registration program On Tuesday (May 9) at 10 am in the university council room.
Students who aspire to admit may register online till 11.59 pm on May 31.
During the auspicious inauguration, Vice-Chancellor asked for everyone's cooperation to complete the rest of the admission activities smoothly, as the admission test is a huge program.
Abu Hassan, member secretary of the central admission management committee and Deputy Registrar (education), said, "This year's admission test will be held in six units. Faculty of Mathematics and Physical Studies and Institute of Information Technology (IIT) under A Unit, Faculty of Social Sciences and Faculty of Law in B Unit, Faculty of Arts and Humanities and Bangabandhu Institute of Comparative Literature and Culture in C Unit, Department of Drama and Dramatics and Department of Fine Arts in C1 Unit, Faculty of Biological Sciences under D Unit and under E Unit, Faculty of Business Studies exam will be held."
Apart from these, in applying to the Institute of Business Administration (IBA), aspirants must apply online separately according to their educational qualifications.
The application fee has been fixed at Tk 900 each for A, B and C units and Tk 600 each for C1, D, E units and IBA.
Detailed information about the admission test can be found on the admission website of the university https://juniv-admission.org. The online registration process for the admission test is being conducted by the Department of Computer Science and Engineering of the University.
