RU entry tests to begin on Jan 16

The Rajshahi University (RU) authorities have set January 16, 2026, as the starting date for its undergraduate admission tests for the 2025-26 academic session.
For the first time, the admission test will be held simultaneously at public university campuses located in Rajshahi, Dhaka, Chattogram, Khulna, Rangpur, and Barishal divisions.
The decision was made at a meeting of the university's admission sub-committee on Monday, chaired by RU Vice-Chancellor Prof Dr Saleh Hasan Naqib.
As per the schedule, the admission test will begin with the C Unit (Science) on January 16, followed by the A Unit (Humanities) on January 17, and the B Unit (Business Studies) on January 24.
A member of the admission committee said that no preliminary selection process would be applied this year. The tests will be held in two shifts - morning (11:00am to 12:00pm) and afternoon (3:00pm to 4:00pm).
