Several questions have been repeated in some question papers at the Business Education Unit’s admission test at Dhaka University.
However, the university authorities said the repetition was not the case in all the papers.
The “C” unit entrance test was held in eight divisions, including Dhaka, from 11am to 12:30pm on Saturday.
After the examination at the Dhaka University centres, it was found that four questions appeared twice in the “A” set, alongside “B”. However, the same did not occur in all the two sets of question papers.
Dhaka University authorities said the problem was seen in up to 60 question papers. They said they would discuss the matter with the examination committee and make a decision in this regard.
Mahmood Osman Imam, chief coordinator of “C” unit admission test, said: "I guarantee that the students will not be affected. I will 'take care' of it through a method.
"There will be no discrimination against those who have received repetitive questions.”
Asked how the issue will be resolved, Osman said: "The decision will be taken by ‘our’ committee. I can't make this decision alone."
A total of 41,008 students applied for 1,050 seats in the unit. The unit has 930 seats for business studies, 95 for science, and 25 for humanities.
