The University of Canberra (UC), one of Australia’s leading institutions, is opening new doors for Bangladeshi students through an upcoming virtual information session scheduled for Tuesday (20th May) at 11:00 am (Bangladesh time). In partnership with Eduko Pathways Bangladesh, the session will provide prospective students with insights into study options, scholarship opportunities, and the application process at UC, according to a press release Saturday.
Established in 1990 and located in Australia’s capital city, UC has built a reputation for innovation, inclusivity, and producing career-ready graduates. The university offers a wide range of forward-thinking programmes in fields such as health, education, business, design, and technology—geared towards preparing students for success in a rapidly evolving global job market.
Innovation lies at the heart of UC’s academic approach. By integrating advanced technologies such as virtual reality (VR), augmented reality (AR), and artificial intelligence (AI) into its curriculum, the university ensures that students are equipped with future-facing skills. UC is also recognised for its impactful research addressing major global issues, including sustainability and social justice.
The university prides itself on its diverse and inclusive campus culture, with strong support systems in place for both international students and Indigenous communities. Dedicated resources are available for Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander students, reflecting UC’s ongoing commitment to equity and cultural inclusion.
UC’s emphasis on employability further sets it apart. Many academic programmes include work-integrated learning (WIL), allowing students to gain practical experience through internships and industry-led projects. With strong ties to businesses and government agencies, UC graduates are known for their readiness to enter and excel in the workforce, added the release.
Located just 15 minutes from Canberra’s city centre, UC’s modern campus offers state-of-the-art facilities, lush green spaces, and a vibrant student life. Sustainability is also a key focus, with various eco-friendly initiatives in place across the university.
Eduko Pathways Bangladesh’s collaboration with UC aims to bridge the gap between Bangladeshi students and world-class education in Australia. The virtual session on 20th May presents an ideal opportunity for students and parents to interact with a UC representative, gain first-hand knowledge, and take the first step towards studying at a globally respected university.
