UODA celebrates Victory Day

The University of Development Alternative (UODA) has celebrated the 47th Victory Day of Bangladesh, remembering the millions of people who sacrificed their lives for independence.

The university arranged a programme on Saturday at its campus in Dhanmondi area of the capital marking the day, says a press release.

Prof Mujib Khan, Founder and President of UODA, was present as chief guest at the programme titled 'Bijoy Utsob Bangladesh'.

He urged the students to prepare themselves to serve the nation in future aiming to materialise the dream of martyrs and national leaders.

UODA Vice Chancellor Prof Dr Rafiqul Islam Sharif, Pro-Vice Chancellor Prof Dr Ahmedullah Miah, Registrar Prof Dr Iffat Chowdhury were present at the celebration, among others.

A lot of students of the university attended the programme. UODA's music department presented a colourful cultural segment marking the victory day.

Teachers and students of School of Development Alternative (SODA) and College of Development Alternative (CODA) were also present at the programme.
