Uttara University ranked among top 1000 universities for research excellence in RUR 2025

Uttara University has earned a prestigious position in the Round University Ranking (RUR) 2025, affirming its growing global presence in higher education.

In the latest rankings released on June 4, 2025, the university ranked 949th in research, showcasing its strength in both academic innovation and global connectivity, according to a media release. 

The RUR 2025 ranking evaluated institutions from over 85 countries, based on four key performance indicators: teaching, research, international diversity and financial sustainability.

According to the RUR Ranking Agency, Uttara University has demonstrated commendable performance across these indicators, reflecting its commitment to academic excellence, research-driven learning and international collaboration.

Vice Chancellor, Professor Dr. Eaysmin Ara Lekha, praised the achievement, stating, “This recognition is the result of the relentless efforts of our faculty, researchers, students and administration. Uttara University aims to move forward while maintaining international standards.”
