Uttara University signs MoU with INTI International University

Uttara University (UU) and INTI International University & Colleges, Malaysia, signed a landmark Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) on July 22, 2025, at the university’s conference room.

The agreement aims to strengthen international academic collaboration, enhance research opportunities, and create new avenues for student and faculty exchange, according to a press release. 

INTI International University, ranked 170th in the QS Asia University Rankings, brings a wealth of global academic experience to the partnership.

This collaboration is expected to significantly benefit both institutions by enriching academic programs and promoting cross-cultural learning.

The MoU was formally signed by Professor Dr. Gour Gobinda Goswami, Pro-Vice Chancellor of Uttara University, and Dr. Khan Sarfaraz Ali, representing the Faculty of Business & Communications at INTI International University.

“This partnership reflects our shared vision for global engagement and our commitment to preparing students for success in an interconnected world,” said Professor Dr. Gour Gobinda Goswami. “We look forward to meaningful collaborations that enhance academic standards and foster international growth.”

The signing ceremony was graced by several distinguished guests and top officials from Uttara University.

Among them were Dr. Ishrat Hossain, Dean, the School of Business; professors and key administrative leaders, including Kazi Mahiuddin, Registrar; Mohammad Ali, Controller of Examinations; Md. Arif Imam, Director, Accounts and Finance, and Kazi Tareq Ullah, Director, the Office of Admission.

Also in attendance were the Directors of the BBA and MBA programs, who play an essential role in shaping the university’s business education landscape, the release adds.
