Asiatic EXP arranged "Berger Alponay Baishakh 1425" at the Manik Mia Avenue of Dhaka on the night of 13th April.
Starting from 11pm, the Alpona Drawing on the streets was held till dawn where 650 prominent artists, thousands of students and people from different parts of Dhaka were present.
It was designed by renowned painter Mohammad Moniruzzaman.
The event was inaugurated by Speaker of the Jatiya Sangsad, Dr. Shirin Sharmin Chaudhury MP and Minister of the Ministry of Cultural Affairs of Bangladesh Government Asaduzzaman Noor MP. Apart from them,Rupali Chowdhury, Managing Director of Berger Paints Bangladesh Limited; Iresh Zaker, Managing Director, Asiatic EXP; and Kedar Lele, CEO, Unilever Bangladesh Limited were also present.
Sponsored by Berger Paints Bangladesh Limited, Asiatic EXP organised the Alpona Festival for the sixth time, said a statement.
