‘Run for the Earth 2025’ to champion environmental protection and healthy living

With a strong message of environmental protection and sustainable living, ‘Infinity Run for the Earth 2025’ is set to take place at Hatirjheel in Dhaka city on December 19 under the initiative of The Athlete X.

The marathon is expected to attract more than 2,500 registered runners from across the country. Alongside runners, the event will bring together fitness communities, youth organisations, families, environmentally conscious citizens and representatives of various social initiatives – turning the run into a collective movement for sustainability.

According to the organisers, sustainability and environmental responsibility remain central to every initiative undertaken by The Athlete X. Through this event, they aim to reinforce their commitment to green advocacy and sustainable development, encouraging communities to adopt healthier and more responsible lifestyles.

To align with the growing global focus on sustainable development, a range of environment-friendly measures have been incorporated into the event. These include the use of recycled running jerseys, paper cups instead of plastic for hydration, digital boards replacing printed posters, and decorations made from jute and cotton fabrics along the race track. Every phase of the event has been carefully designed to minimise environmental impact.

The organisers emphasise that ‘Infinity Run for the Earth 2025’ is not merely a race; it is a collective commitment to the planet.
