Moderate to dense fog may occur in places across the country from midnight to morning and may persist until noon in some areas.

Meanwhile, the Bangladesh Meteorological Department (BMD) weather bulletin this morning said, “Temperature may fall further for next five days.”

The bulletin also warned that “air navigation, inland river transport, and road communication may be disrupted temporarily due to dense fog,” adding that both night and day temperatures may remain nearly unchanged across the country, according to a BSS report.

Weather conditions are expected to remain mainly dry with a temporarily partly cloudy sky, the BMD added.

The Met Office explained that a ridge of sub-continental high extends up to Bihar and the adjoining area, while a seasonal low lies over the South Bay.

The maximum temperature recorded yesterday was 30.4°C at Teknaf in the Chattogram division, while the minimum temperature recorded today is 9.9°C at Tetulia in the Rangpur division.

The sunset today is at 5:45 pm, and the sunrise tomorrow will be at 6:39 am in the capital.
