Bangladesh Red Crescent Society (BDRCS) seeks 1,149,014 Swiss francs to support 50,000 people in Bangladesh.

The support will come through the International Federation of Red Cross and Red Crescent Societies (IFRC), and BDRCS will deliver and conduct the assistance to the affected people.

Affected people by both Tropical Cyclone Mora and landslides for last twelve months will get the support with a focus on health, water, sanitation and hygiene promotion (WASH).

Besides, the support will also cover shelter, food security and livelihoods and disaster risk reduction (DRR) and National Society capacity building.

The budget includes a provision of 18,258 Swiss francs for Inter-Agency Shelter Coordination, according to the Relief Web.

The revised response reflects the current situation of the operation and is adjusted with a decrease of 29 per cent in budget and a four-month extension considering funding available and recommendations of the BDRCS to meet the current needs.
