Evercare Hospital Dhaka (EHD), the country’s first JCI-accredited hospital, marked World Cancer Day 2025 by arranging a program showcasing its advanced cancer care facilities and multidisciplinary treatment approach.
Aligned with this year’s theme, "United by Unique," the event highlighted EHD’s commitment to personalized oncology care, ensuring tailored treatment for each patient, according to a media release.
Leading oncologists from EHD’s Cancer Care Centre discussed the hospital’s state-of-the-art diagnostic and therapeutic services, emphasizing early detection, medical advancements, and collaborative treatment approaches.
The panel of discussants included renowned specialists such as Dr. Ferdous Shahriar Sayed, Senior Consultant & Coordinator, Medical Oncology; Dr. Biswajit Bhattacharjee, Senior Consultant & Coordinator, Radiation Oncology; Dr. Abu Jafar Mohammed Saleh, Coordinator & Senior Consultant, Hematology & Stem Cell Transplant; Dr. Arman Reza Chowdhury, Senior Consultant, Radiation Oncology; Dr. Lutful L. Chowdhury, Coordinator & Senior Consultant of Gastroenterology & Hepatology; Prof. Dr. Brig. Gen. (Retd.) Md. Saiful Islam, Coordinator & Senior Consultant, Diagnostic & Interventional Radiology; and Prof. Brig Gen (Retd.) Dr. S. M. Mahbubul Alam, Senior Consultant, Lab Medicinedepartmentalong with consultants from various specialties.
Dr. Ratnadeep Chaskar, CEO & Managing Director of Evercare Hospitals, Bangladesh and Dr. Arif Mahmud, Group Medical Director of Evercare Hospitals, Bangladesh were also present at the discussion panel, reinforcing EHD’s commitment to advancing cancer care in the country.
