NeoSTAR Innovation and Bastob jointly organised an e-health camp in Cox’s Bazar recently aimed at providing healthcare to the poor and marginal people at free of cost.
A good number of patients, especially, women, children and elderly people, received the tech-aided services supported by UAE-based Bank Alfalah.
Under the initiative, a senior doctor from Dhaka gave treatment to patients through videoconferencing at Shilkhali Union Parishad of the district. A local doctor was present at the venue and apprised the senior doctor of necessary medical history. After the procedure, e-prescriptions were provided to the patients.
NeoSTAR Innovation has so far arranged 16 e-health camps in different parts of the country. It is working to facilitate sustainable economic growth by utilizing potentials of green technology and information technology.
