Two more people died from dengue in the last 24 hours till Monday morning, bringing this year's death toll to 137.
According to the daily bulletin issued by the Directorate General of Health Services (DGHS), 573 new dengue patients were admitted to hospitals across the country during the same period.
The total number of cases since January has now reached 34,984, with 33,127 patients already discharged after treatment.
Currently, 1,720 patients are receiving care at various hospitals nationwide.
The most recent fatalities occurred at Dhaka's Mugda Medical College Hospital.
