WUST signs MoU with Let’s Talk Mental Health to enhance student mental healthcare

Washington university of Science and Technology (WUST), located at 2900 Eisenhower Ave, Alexandria, VA 22314, has recently signed a memorandum of understanding (MoU) with Let’s Talk Mental Health (LTMH), a mental healthcare and wellbeing organisation, to provide mental healthcare for their students aligning with Sustainable Development Goals (SDG) 3, 4.

Chancellor Engr Abu Bokor Hanip of WUST and Co-founder and President of LTMH Anusha Chowdhury signed the agreement on behalf of their respective institution on June 10, according to a press release.

This partnership aims to provide comprehensive mental health resources, including workshops, counseling services, and educational programmes, tailored to the needs of students, faculty, and staff. It is expected to set a precedent for integrating mental health support within educational institutions, addressing the growing mental health challenges faced by students and staff in today’s demanding academic landscape.
