The Anti-discrimination movement students and Bangladesh Islami Chhatra Shibir are set to organise separate programmes on Tuesday in the capital.

Bangladesh Islami Chhatra Shibir to hold its central members' gathering at Shahid Suhrawardy Udyan starting at 8 am. Members from across the country will elect their central leaders during this event.

Meanwhile, at 3 pm, leaders of the Anti-Discrimination Student Movement will conduct the 'March for Unity' at the Central Shaheed Minar as part of their ongoing anti-government campaign. This event will replace their previously announced July Proclamation, according to local media reports.

The announcement for the 'March for Unity' was made by the movement's member secretary, Arif Sohel, early on Tuesday.

Notably, Islami Chhatra Shibir is organising a public gathering for the first time in 13 years. Attendance will be limited to members of the organisation, along with select Jamaat-e-Islami leaders and guests from both home and abroad.

The scheduling of these separate events by the two organisations has sparked discussions in political circles.
