US Assistant Secretary of State for South and Central Asian Affairs Donald Lu is likely to visit Bangladesh this month.
Local news portals said Bangladesh’s Chief Adviser Prof Muhammad Yunus will visit New York to join United Nations General Assembly this month. The US delegation, led by Donald Lu, will come to Dhaka before the chief adviser’s New York visit.
During the engagements, the officials of Bangladesh and the US would focus on future courses of action regarding their relations amid a changed political situation.
The visit of the US delegation would be the first one after the formation of an interim government in Bangladesh.
