Everyone agrees on July declaration, but not in a hurry: Golam Parwar

Jamaat-e-Islami Secretary General Professor Mia Golam Parwar said that all political parties have agreed on the July manifesto. But haste can be mistaken for the spirit of the coup.

He said this after an all-party dialogue at the Foreign Service Academy in the capital on Thursday evening at the call of Chief Adviser of the interim government Dr. Muhammad Yunus, as per local media reports.

A four-member Jamaat delegation led by its Secretary General Professor Mia Ghulam Parwar, BNP standing committee member Salauddin Ahmed, Islami Andolan Bangladesh joint secretary general Gazi Ataur Rahman, Jatiya Nagorik Committee convener Nasir Uddin and member secretary Akhtar Hossain took part in the dialogue.

A three-member delegation led by Ganasanghati Andolan chief coordinator Zonayed Saki, Jatiya Samajtantrik Dal (JSD) general secretary Shahid Uddin Mahmudul Islam Khan, Khelafat Majlish secretary general Ahmad Abdul Kader and Ganoadhikar Parishad president Nurul Haque Nur were also present at the meeting.
