Ghana says two ministers die in military helicopter crash

Ghana’s defence minister Edward Omane Boamah and environment, science and technology minister Ibrahim Murtala Muhammed have died in a military helicopter crash, a government spokesperson said on Wednesday.

Earlier the West African country’s armed forces said in a statement that an airforce helicopter carrying three crew and five passengers had disappeared from the radar.
