Haji Selim faces backlash from protesters, takes shelter at hospital

Former Awami League MP Haji Selim was confronted by quota protesters while returning home after a medical check-up at Labaid Hospital in the capital city on Tuesday.
He ultimately had to take shelter at the hospital after facing pressure from the demonstrators.
The incident occurred this evening near Labaid Hospital. According to local media reports, upon exiting the hospital, Selim's two vehicles were surrounded by approximately 300 to 400 protesters. Tensions escalated as heated exchanges took place between his supporters and the agitated students.
At one point, as protesters assaulted his vehicle, Haji Selim was compelled to retreat into Labaid Hospital. The protesters continued to chant slogans, denouncing him.
