Additional Superintendent of Police (ASP) Golam Saklain Shithil is going to lose his job over an extramarital affair with actress Pori Moni.
The Ministry of Home Affairs decided to send him on forced retirement and sought the opinion of the Bangladesh Public Service Commission (PSC) in this regard recently, local news portals said.
Golam Saklain was the additional deputy commissioner (ADC) of the Gulshan Division of DB under Dhaka Metropolitan Police (DMP).
He was withdrawn from the post on August 7, 2021, based on allegations of unprofessional conduct with actress Pori Moni during an investigation.
