Primeasia student’s murder: Two female students suspended by University of Scholars

The University of Scholars has temporarily suspended two female students in connection with the murder of Zahidul Islam Parvez, a student of Primeasia University. The university also expressed deep sorrow and condolences over Parvez's untimely demise.

The two students who have been suspended are Fatema Tahsin Oishi (ID: 241050013) from the Department of Business Administration and Faria Haque Tina (ID: 241040048) from the Department of English.

The suspension letters were issued on Monday (April 21).

According to university authorities, in response to the unexpected incident, an internal investigation committee was formed comprising members from relevant departments.

Based on preliminary findings of the committee, including information gathered from news reports and social media, indications of involvement by the two students emerged. As a result, they have been temporarily suspended pending further investigation.
