Recruitment tests for 10 DMTCL posts deferred

Authorities have suspended the recruitment tests for 10 posts at the Dhaka Mass Transit Company Limited (DMTCL) that were to be held on Friday.

The announcement was made through a statement signed by DMTCL Joint Secretary Khondokar Ehteshamul Kabir on Wednesday.

The notice that the written exam for recruitment tests to posts No. 9 to No. 18 under the recruitment order No. 11 scheduled from 11am to 12pm on Aug 15 have been deferred. The updated scheduled will be shared with the applicants via SMS.

DMTCL published the employment notice on Apr 29 to recruit 120 staff members for 24 different posts.

The recruitment is likely to hire employees to the posts of manager, assistant manager, security officer, finance officer, junior revenue officer, finance assistant, section engineer, junior marketing officer, pesh Imam, Muazzin, semi-skilled maintainer, semi-skilled machine operator and semi-skilled driver.
