A large number of students under the banner of the anti-discrimination student movement marched to the High Court premises on Wednesday morning to besiege the court, demanding the resignation of ‘pro-Awami League fascist judges’.
Some lawyers also started demonstrations in front of the Supreme Court Bar Association to realise the same demand.
Earlier, the students gathered in front of Raju Memorial Sculpture of Dhaka University before their march towards the High Court.
On Tuesday, Sarjis Alam and Hasnat Abdullah, two of the coordinators of the anti-discrimination student movement, called for the siege in Facebook posts.
