Kaushik Hossain Taposh, managing director of Gaan Bangla, has earned the International Ratna Award in India for his contribution to Bengali music.
The renowned music director received the honour in Howrah, Kolkata on Saturday.
"Thanks to the International Ratna Award committee for granting me such an accolade yesterday at Howrah, West Bengal, India," he wrote on his social media account.
Taposh has previously received the ‘Gorber Bangali Award 2021’ on April 14, with Shaan, Ajay Chakraborti, Gautam Gosh, and other prominent Bengali figures.
He previously received the coveted 'Dada Saheb Phalke Excellence Award' (2018) as well as the prestigious 'Mother Teresa International Award' for his outstanding contribution to music.
Since its release in 2016, Toposh's ‘Wind of Change’ has become a sensation. The show has singers from all over the world in each season.
