Tour Operators Association of Bangladesh (TOAB) is going to organise a three-day tourism fair from Wednesday to promote tourism in Bangladesh.
The 10th edition of the fair, under the banner ‘Mastercard Bangladesh Travel & Tourism Fair (BTTF) 2022’, will be held at the Bangabandhu International Conference Center (BICC) in Dhaka.
The fair will be kept open for the visitors from 10.00 am to 8.00 pm every day. The entry fee is Tk 30 per visitor and students will be allowed to enter free of cost by showing identity cards.
There will be more than 80 stalls including six pavilions in the fair, the organisers said at a press conference on Monday.
TOAB President, also governing body member of the Bangladesh Tourism Board (BTB), Md Rafeuzzaman presided over the press conference held in a hotel in the capital.
CEO of BTB Jabed Ahmed, Senior Vice President of the FBCCI Mostofa Azad Chowdhury Babu and Country Manager of Mastercard Bangladesh Liaison Office Syed Mohammad Kamal, among others, were also present at the occasion.
Ministry of Civil Aviation and Tourism, Bangladesh Tourism Board, Bangladesh Tourism Corporation, FBCCI, and Bangladesh Tourist Police will cooperate in arranging the fair this year.
