Crimes against humanity: Tribunal receives charge sheet against Shamim Osman, 12 others


The prosecution has submitted a formal charge sheet to the International Crimes Tribunal against former Narayanganj lawmaker Shamim Osman and 12 others, including his son, over alleged crimes against humanity committed during the July Uprising.
Prosecutor Gazi MH Tamim confirmed on Monday that the charge sheet had been filed with the tribunal, reports bdnews24.com.
Among the accused is Shamim’s son Imtinan Osman.
Shamim represented the Narayanganj-4 constituency as a member of parliament.
The prosecution did not disclose the names of the remaining accused or provide further details of the charges at this stage.
