Two friends were killed in a road accident when an unknown vehicle hit the motorbike in Sonargaon upazila of Narayanganj on Friday night.
The deceased were identified as Zahidul Islam (18), son of Alamgir Hossain of Siddhirganj and Saiful Islam (19), son of Kamal Hossain of the same upazila, according to local media reports.
The incident occurred in the Kanchpur area on the Dhaka-Chattogram highway while they were returning home from a trip to Sonargaon around 9:00 pm.
Police recovered the bodies and handed them over to their families.
