Bangladeshi people can now enjoy ad-free videos on YouTube as the video-sharing site has launched the YouTube Premium feature in the country.
However, users need to pay Tk 239 per month to subscribe to the feature.
YouTube Premium also enables users to keep videos playing in the background. It provides more options to download videos and save videos and playlists on devices to watch them offline, according to local newspapers.
Subscription of the feature begins with a one-month free trial. After the trial, users will be billed Tk 239. Users will be reminded 7 days before the end of the trial. Users will be able to cancel the subscription anytime following the guidelines.
This feature also comes with YouTube Music Premium, the music streaming platform of the company. A subscription to the feature will enable users to listen to more than 100 million songs without the hindrance of advertisements, like videos. Songs can also be downloaded for listening offline with the subscription.
YouTube will charge Tk 199 per month for the feature. The subscription to YouTube Music Premium won’t allow users to get premium video features.
