ZI Khan Panna secures anticipatory bail in attempted murder case

Supreme Court lawyer and Ain o Salish Kendra (ASK) Chairperson ZI Khan Panna has secured an anticipatory bail from the High Court in a case filed over an allegation of attempted murder.
A High Court bench of Justice AKM Asaduzaman granted the anticipatory bail on Monday.
ZI Khan Panna will remain on bail until the filing of the probe report in the case filed under Khilgaon police station.
The case was filed against 180 people, including ZI Khan Panna and current Director General of Border Guard Bangladesh (BGB) Major General Mohammad Ashrafuzzaman Siddiqui, recently on allegation of injuring a youth, Ahadul Islam, during the anti-discrimination student movement on July 19.
