Role: Assistant Director
Job Responsibilities:
- Reporting to the Joint Director, of Student Life, the Assistant Director will lead the development, implementation, and oversight of the University's Sports and Fitness center. Responsibilities include developing and implementing a vision, strategy, and operational plan for sports and fitness across the university, promoting wide participation and excellence. Also, training and evaluation of the participants, determining class schedules, and development of outreach events, including one-time classes or special events with on-campus and off-campus partners. Regular, reliable, and non-disruptive attendance is also an essential job duty, as is the ability to create and maintain collegial, harmonious working relationships with others.
Requirements:
- An appropriate higher education qualification in a related discipline and extensive work experience and specialist expertise in a related field.
- Minimum 6 years of significant experience in the management of sports and fitness provision and physical instruction for all levels of ability in an educational institution.
