Erasmus Mundus Joint Masters programs are highly esteemed international master's programs collaboratively crafted and conducted by a consortium of higher education institutions.

These programs typically engage a minimum of three institutions hailing from at least three distinct countries, while also involving numerous affiliated partners from both the academic and non-academic sectors.

The program structure usually encompasses various phases, including study periods, research endeavours, practical training, thesis development, and the subsequent thesis defence.

Eligibility Criteria : 

Eligibility Criteria for Erasmus Scholarship:

Category A: 

• You are not a resident of any of the 27 European Union member states, Iceland, Norway, or Liechtenstein.
• Your primary activities (such as studies, work, private visits, tourism, etc.) in any of the 27 European Union Member States, Iceland, Norway, or Liechtenstein have not exceeded a total of 12 months within the last five years.
• You have applied to no more than three Erasmus Mundus Masters programs.
• While there are no specific GPA or academic record requirements, a strong academic background can significantly enhance your chances of selection, given the highly competitive and prestigious nature of the Erasmus scholarship.
• There are no age restrictions; applicants of any age from around the world are welcome to apply.
• Additionally, there is no mandatory work experience prerequisite. Even if you are a recent graduate with minimal or no professional experience, you are eligible to apply.

Category B: 

• You are either a European student or a non-European student who does not meet the criteria for category A.

Erasmus Mundus Scholarship Coverage:

• The Erasmus Mundus Scholarship is a comprehensive program that offers full financial support to all eligible students.
• Under this scholarship, tuition fees are completely waived, relieving students of any payment obligations.
• International students will receive a monthly stipend to cover their living expenses.
• While the scholarship does not cover visa-related expenses, students are responsible for making their visa arrangements.
• Furthermore, the scholarship provides a travel allowance to facilitate students' mobility between different countries. Additionally, for the Erasmus Mundus 2024 program, round-trip airfare will be included.
• This unique opportunity allows students to study in various European countries, providing a chance to live in and explore 3 to 4 European nations, all at no cost.

 Erasmus Mundus Scholarship Requirements: 

• Ensure you have your degrees and transcripts readily available.

• A well-crafted motivation letter is mandatory. Keep in mind that the format may vary depending on the program, so be sure to review the relevant program's guidelines.
• IELTS/TOEFL scores are a requirement. While a score of 6.5 bands overall is generally acceptable for most scholarships, it's advisable to aim for a score of 7.0, especially given the competitive nature of the Erasmus Mundus scholarship. • Prepare a curriculum vitae (CV) in the European format.

• Lastly, provide proof of residence, demonstrating that you are a permanent resident of the country you are applying from and have not resided in Europe for at least one or more years.
