Fully funded Daad scholarship 2023-2024 in Germany

Daad Helmut Schmidt Scholarship fully-funded international scholarship Program 2023–2024 supports students from developing and newly industrialized countries with at least two years of professional experience in their pursuit of a postgraduate or master's degree at a state or state-recognized German university.

Funded by the German Federal Foreign Office, Daad Helmut Schmidt Scholarship Programme is Now Open For International Students who want to Study in Germany. 

Scholarship holders are expected to use the knowledge and experience acquired in Germany to contribute to establishing democratically oriented economic and social systems aimed at overcoming social disparities in their home countries. Thus, the DAAD program should contribute to supporting good governance and civil society structures in the partner countries and regions.

Eligibility for Daad Helmut Schmidt Scholarship Program 2023-2024: 

• Only Developing Countries applicants are Eligible for the helmut-schmidt-program (master’s scholarship for Public Policy and Good Governance). 
• Applicants Must have obtained a first degree or Bachelor's in Related Fields of Study.
• The application must either be Written in English or German Language.
• Applicants Must Ensure all requirements for the Master’s Courses are Met.
• Bachelor, Diploma, or Equivalent Degree Used must not be More than Six years.

Helmut Schmidt Scholarships Coverage:

The benefits that a student gets with the DAAD Helmut Scholarships 2023 include:

• Appropriate travel allowance.
• Scholarship of monthly 850 € for selected master's programs at German institutions of higher education.
• Contributions to health insurance in Germany.
• Study and research subsidy.
• The study programs are usually starting in Sep/Oct 2021 and are taught in German and/or English.
• Monthly rent subsidy where applicable.
• Allowances for spouses and/or children where applicable.
• 6-month German language course from April 2023 up to the end of September 2023. The language course takes place at selected institutes in Germany and usually not at the universities of the selected master's programs. The language course is compulsory also for those who attend a master´s course taught in English.

• Choose 2 courses indicating the first and second choice.
• Write a letter of motivation as you are eligible to choose two Universities for either your course's first or second choice.
