Intertek Bangladesh is hiring a Technologist and Senior Technologist  in the Textile Lab

Intertek Bangladesh provides customers with Assurance, Testing, Inspection, and Certification services.

Vacancy Type: Full-time 

Role: Technologist and Senior Technologist 

Job Responsibilities: 

• Conduct all allotted tests as per methods and SOP.
• Prepare initial test reports and verify the accuracy of test results.
• Monitor any discrepancy in the test material, method, or equipment.
• Ensure all assigned tests are completed within the stipulated timeline.
• Keep all necessary records of the tests conducted.
• Maintain stock records and monitor the consumables.
• Maintain all QC parameters as per SOP/guideline and update daily QC.
• Maintain equipment performance and up-to-date calibration records.
• Keep the test area clean and maintain impeccable housekeeping all around.

Requirements:

• Bachelor of Science (BSc) in Textile Engineering/Chemistry/Physics.
• Experience: 1 to 5 years.

• Freshers are also encouraged to apply.

Additional Requirements:

• Age 26 to 30 years.

• Basic knowledge of dying/finishing/weaving/garment making. 
• Soft skills: Organized, meticulous attention to detail and accuracy, problem-solving skills, patience, ability to work under pressure and tight deadlines.
• Language proficiency: English and Bangla. 
• Computer literacy: Hands-on experience in MS Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.

Job Location: Dhaka, Gazipur.

Salary: Negotiable.
